ABOUT ME

 

My name is Farah Aleeya binti Haizam and people call me 'leya'. More short and simple. My home is located at Kampung Sijangkang, Selangor. I've been living there since I was born. I could say, my village is my story. There were a lot of sad scenes, cherished moments and delicious food :').My mother is working as a teacher and no joke, she is very ambitious to become a school principal right now. My hardworking father who is always funny without even trying and committed to his work. I've two younger brothers. That's it. Nothing much can be said about them. Too hectic . But no worries , I love them all. I'm a fast-paced person who eager to finish my work as quickly as I can means before the deadline, I'll make sure the task is done. No time to waste. I'm also like to focusing on required details. I think I would might not offer myself as a leader but, I more favor to be the strength of the group. 

OVERVIEW AND OBJECTIVES

My overview about this subject (UNGS 1201) is difficult. Yeah in the first class when Sir asked about this, I was the one who answered it 'difficult'. It shouldn't be actually. Sustainable development Goals is something that is happening around us whether we take it seriously or not. Maybe it is easy to understand but not to digest it correctly. It deals with our responsibility as a human who is living in this world and what could be our contribution to sustaining its naturality. As a student, I also have to bring this matter up to my next level and not only something that I need to know, however it's a thing that I need to do and apply. Our environment is our rescuer. not a resource to be wasted. But this is only a small part of the whole scope of SDG things besides it is also involved with humanity and equality. It shows a quality of a fine human being in taking care of one another and empathy towards those who are in need of our hands to help them. This is what I think about SDG and I wish to seek knowledge and learn more about this subject. Hopefully my overview is not totally deviant with what SDG actually is.

    The objective of this blog is going to be my weekly reflection about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) subject. I will make sure after the end of this semester, I've understood all the input that I've learned throughout this subject and continue to apply it in my daily life and future. I will not view this subject as only a 'book' that needs to be read but a 'task' that has to be done in my life. Lastly, I hope I could score this subject meaningfully and get 'A' to see the smile on my parents' face.

APPRECIATION

This is my first attempt ever in writing a blog which means I'm very nervous right now. I've always wanted to create a blog since I was in high school but I didn't. The only thing that stopped me from writing it was that I'm not good at words and English. Yeah I'm being super honest here but I shouldn't be embarrassed though. This is my process of learning and I have to trust myself. For that, thank you Sir for making 'create Blog' as our assessment because I can finally do what I've been wanting to do.
