WEEK 12 : CASE STUDY OF PROJECT PROPOSAL

Image
Assalamualaikum and Hi everyone! Today is going to be my last chapter as a blogger because we have arrived to our last week!. Not a subject topic to be exact because week 12 and 13 is actually our presentation period. Therefore, basically I will make this blog as my reflection of the project and lesson that I gasp from the other group also.  My group project proposal is about cutlery. The cleanliness and usage of IIUM Gombak cafes cutlery.  Seems trivial right? I know this issue is deemed to be neglected by the students because not like a big issue to be highlighted. Me myself also had thought that why I bother choose this issue but then I countered the same problem when I go to café by café. Finally, we've made a decision to bring this issue up to the authority to acknowledge them that this problem is troublesome. Just imagine how you're going to eat with a dirty cutlery provided by the café when the hygiene is being doubted and worry. The cutlery is sticky, dirty, the...

Assalamualaikum and meet again!      Today agenda is about how disciplinary strength to transdisciplinary approach for sustainable development.it was my first time i heard about the term transdisciplinary. It something new for me and I'm curious how it going to work.  Before that, we have to understand what is disciplinary strength. disciplinary strength are persons with varying degrees of specialization in their respective disciplines or fields.       The aims of the SDGs are not limited to covering just one area of study. When it comes to how things are viewed, those working in various sectors each have their own areas of specialisation, as well as their own distinct opinions and points of view. Therefore, by pooling our resources, expertise and knowledge, we will be able to produce a solution that is both more robust and productive. If human are ignorance with their own opinion such as only consider the problem of particular field but no...

WEEK 10 : INDICATORS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Image
Assalamualaikum and meet again!       For this week topic, it was something new to me because I've never heard this terms before. The topic was about the indicators of Sustainable development. My first thought about the topic is something that influence the objective to be met? or factors? maybe things that driven the emergence of Sustainable development goals? After I've learned it in lesson today, indicators is a statistic that measures progress made in sustainable development of growth. Its a crucial guidance or measurement in order to  make sure that the goals is aligned and the progression is excellent.       I'm interested to talk about ecological footprint indicators that relates with our beloved environment. Ecological footprint is tracking the use of productive recourse and measure human demand on nature. it is the only statistic that evaluates the amount of nature we have and how much we consume. By this measurement, it will ...

Also new week, new blog!      For today I'll share about my sustainable green university that will always has a special place in my heart. As we aware that sustainable development initiative is very crucial to implement in ensuring the well-being and health of the world. Therefore, wherever we go, whatever the situation is, we are in charge and accountable to make change or improvement to our surrounding.       IIUM certainly has gone through so many Sustainable Development goals execution. I've seen some of them and more to explore. The first impression when i came in IIUM is how excellent the university in taking care of greenery environment. Even there is so many trees and plants like it seems hard to manage, but it is not. The adjacent within the border is just amazi...
